Norton definition updates not updating
I found this in a Symantec article: Verify that the SEPM content is updated: a.To verify that the SEPM content has been updated, look in the following folder: "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manger\Inetpub\content\" b. This is the date and build number of the definition set installed. As soon as the available updates for Windows Defender are detected, they will automatically start being downloaded.
I think the problem might be that the client package was configured to be unmanaged. The Live Update function appears to work and the home page of the Endpoint Protection Manager shows that the info is up to date.If I look at the "Show Live Update Downloads" screen, it is empty and says "No Live Update Content has been downloaded".Type exe -signatureupdate into the Command Prompt and press the Enter key.This will initiate a Windows Defender update which, hopefully, will be successful.
